From 1994 - 1999 the ELITE FOUNDATION (European Laboratory for Intelligent Techniques Engineering) annually organized EUFIT - The European Congress on Intelligent Techniques and Soft Computing. EUFIT brought together scientists and practitioners from academic, governmental, and industrial institutions to discuss new developments and results in the field of intelligent technologies.
The congress took place each year in Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle), Germany.
